Mô tả công việc

- Effectively manage all group, transient and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel.
- Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
- Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments and utilize business intelligence in order to effectively adapt business intelligence in cooperation with the Marketing Communication Manager and Revenue Manager.
- Develop new plans and programmes and regularly appraise effectiveness of current plans and programmes.
- Prepare annual Business plan and pricing.
- Prepare annual sales activity plan including national and international sales trips.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities and circulate to all parties concerned.
- Set and regularly review sales targets for members of the team and take appropriate action if targets are not met.
- Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
- Ensure all regular reports and data are uploaded in a timely fashion.
- Analyse all available reports and act on findings.
- Ensures optimal compliance with Accor standards.
- Manages performance issues that arise within the Sales team and ensure that teammembers adhere to Accor standards at all times.
- Ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling and developing of department’s team members.
- Effectively communicate with other departments in a constructive spirit and contribute to a positive team spirit at all times.
- Conduct a daily briefing with department on current key activities.
- Participate actively in weekly RevMax meetings.
- Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary.
- Ensures guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market competitiveness.
- Ensure that departmental expenses are controlled carefully to work with budgeted guidelines. Make adjustments to forecast expenditure in line with major forecast fluctuation.
- Participate in community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote a positive image.
- Be an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve upscale levels of performance.
- Must be an example of the MGallery values, brand standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.
- Work hours as required to meet the demands of the business.
- Familiarise yourself with company’s emergency procedures and adhere to them at all times.
- Participate in training programmes as directed by the GM and HRM.
