Managerial:
· Develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the brand's business strategy and lead its execution
· Oversee the day to day operations of Rooms division to champion the brand's service vision for product and service delivery and ensures alignment amongst the Rooms leadership teams
· Direct, control and supervise all departments under Rooms division: including Front office and Housekeeping
· Foster employee commitment to provide excellent services, participate in daily stand-up meetings and model desired service behaviors in all interactions with guests and employees
· Set goals and expectations for direct reports using the performance review process and hold staff accountable for successful performance
· Ensure property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to standard and local operating procedures
· Prepare annual plan and rationale for Rooms Division revenue and expenses, endeavor to maximize departmental profit and control costs
· Contribute to the development of the hotel’s annual marketing plan, capitalizing on all areas to increase revenue and improve image
· Prepare all necessary forecasts, work closely with Reservations, Front Office and Sales to maximize occupancy, rate and revenue
· Keep all departments notified of any fluctuations in business levels, special guests, groups, etc.

Technical:
· Review activities and conduct inspection tours in areas of responsibility to ensure desired standards of quality, service, cleanliness and controls are maintained and take corrective actions where necessary across all department under Rooms division (e.g., Housekeeping and Front-office)
· Attend to guest comments verbally and in writing in order to insure proper attention to follow-up of all inquiries
· Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenue and reducing costs
· Respond properly and take a supervisory role in any hotel emergency or safety situation as well as insure the proper control and instruction of said emergency procedures to the Rooms Division
· Contribute to training of employees, participate in the PSQ training and lecture at IIHC as and when requested

· Strong competency in the following areas: motivational leadership, effective communication, customer service, bottom line improvement, professional presentation with service-oriented style, organizational, interpersonal and administrative skill sets
· High energy, entrepreneurial spirit
· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to work under pressure
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

PROFILE:
· Bachelors in Hotel Management or equivalent from a recognized university
· 7 years of experience at a leading international hotel group and 3 to 5 years in key Rooms Division capacities
· Experienced in managing budgets, evaluating revenue proposals and forecasting results
· Knowledgeable of the hotel property operation and yield management
· Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector
- Demonstrated progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
·. Fluent in written and spoken English; multiple language proficiency is preferred
