Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ability to close sales
2. Maintains constant communication with other Managers in the Department.
3. Knows how and when to impose deadlines and delegate tasks.
4. Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm, and leadership by example.
5. Has effective public speaking and presentation skills; presents ideas, expectations, and information
in a concise, well-organized manner.
6. Uses effective listening skills.
7. Uses problem solving methodology for decision making / follow-up.
8. Has personal integrity, manages time well, and is highly visible in areas of responsibility.
9. Serves as point of contact for customers, Thailand hotels and sales organization. Ensure
pricing/selling strategies are followed.
10. Be able to discuss, plan, finalize, and communicate food and beverage options with customer.
11. Able to maximize revenue by up selling.
12. Suggests positive alternatives and ensures that business booked is within hotel parameters.
13. Produces proposal, contracts and other related booking tools. Prepares all sales documentation
accurately.
14. Works closely with Director of Sales/Managers to facilitate customer bookings.
15. Understanding and achievement of service, catering, and hotel goals.
16. Implement turnover meeting with Event Management team.
17. Effective filing and trace system.
18. Enter and manage catering and group room blocks into available systems for the hotel.
19. Develop and maintain all lead, tentative booking files.
20. Ensure that all incoming calls are answered within 3 rings with proper greetings and telephone
etiquette.
21. Ensure that all proposals are sent out within working day.
22. Assist other Department Managers/ Supervisors as needed.
23. Complete special projects and/or other activities as assigned by Director of Sales.
Technical Skills:
1. Strong overall sales skills.
2. Effective telephone communication skills.
3. Understand Group and Catering positioning of the hotel.
4. Knowledge of system use for group and catering block.
5. Broad understanding of function and group room space management.
6. Proven ability in group sales process and relate strategies
7. Maximize revenue by up selling packages and creative food & beverage.
8. Understanding and achievement of team and individual goals.
9. Understanding of need time strategy as developed by revenue management.

Yêu cầu công việc

Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable hospitality school
• Minimum 5 years of Sales management experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records
• High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
